Design-Bid-Build Restore Pharmacies, B1 and B17, Naval Hospital

RORE performed the design-bid-build renovation and internal expansion, within the hospital building footprint, of the Inpatient Pharmacy (Building B1) and Outpatient Pharmacy (Buildings B17) at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, WA. The hospital was in continuous operation 24/7. Throughout the project, RORE coordinated with the Hospital and Contracting Officer to ensure minimum impact on ongoing facility operations without significant interruption of pharmacy, family clinic, or hospital services. To accomplish this, we performed the interior demolition, renovations, additions, and construction of temporary facilities work in six separate phases.
Renovate Dental to Ambulatory Care

RORE renovated an existing dental facility and conversion to ambulatory care. The project scope included an extensive upgrade of structural steel columns and foundations; wall framing for new exam and treatment rooms; medical gas distribution systems; electrical distribution systems; HVAC equipment and ductwork; communications; security systems; and medical grade finishes and fixtures throughout the facility. The project was located at the busy VA Medical Center in San Diego, CA and required extensive planning with government representatives and hospital staff to successfully integrate the numerous building power and control systems into the existing hospital operations, all while the hospital was occupied and fully functional.
UCSD 5175 Encinitas Cancer Center Pharmacy Upgrade

RORE renovated the multi-phase interior of the existing 800 SF of an operational pharmacy. The project included selective demolition of non-load bearing partitions; installation of metal-framed partitions, doors and frames, casework, acoustical ceilings, and finishes; installation of Owner furnished equipment; new mechanical HVAC air handling rooftop units, exhaust fans, electric steam generator, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, power lighting, and communications upgrades, and viral vector hoods.
